On Retirement.

OK. Seriously.
Let's say I work at Ford or something on the Assembly Line, and I announce my retirement...they have a nice dinner, give me a watch and a pension (if I'm lucky) and then I shuffle off to watch Matlock, Wheel of Fortune, go to Florida, wear black socks with leather sandals and complain about young people. Let's say that 4 months later I tire of this and decide I want to go back to Ford...well guess what, in the real world they'd laugh at you and you'd be a greeter at WalMart.
So Brett...take the hint. In this instance, Ford is the Packers...Walmart...well just take your pick...
What the f. just stay retired athletes, or go coach football, or do whatever, don't retire until you're ready to and then don't come back. Many great legacies are tainted forever by UN-Retiring. Michael Jordan springs to mind, Junior Seau, (that's not a great legacy but not bad) and the list goes on...just to say that, compared to oh...John Elway...Steve Yzerman...Ozzie Smith...
I'm done.
Brett I loved watching you but you're going to be making a LOT of people not so pleased...
